Mars–Venus: Angular Separation & Planet–Planet Distance

Local calculations via astronomy-engine. Toggle topocentric angle. Presets + elevation + current location. Time charts honor the timezone toggle; the Angle–Distance chart has its own legend.

Angle uses geocentric (checkbox off) or topocentric (checkbox on). Distance is heliocentric; Alt/Az readouts are topocentric.

Angular separation
Planet–planet distance
Mars (geocentric apparent)
Venus (geocentric apparent)

Presets use fixed elevations/timezones here. “Use current location” asks your browser for GPS; timezone uses your device setting.

Angular separation (deg) vs time
Distance (AU) vs time
Angle (deg) vs Distance (AU)
